A heartbeat for your home.
What is it all about? I want to know when the power goes out in my home. Therefore I use a client-server communication between a SBC in my living room and my webserver (wherever it might be). As soon as the power goes out, the SBC stops sending 'OK' messages to the webserver, hence the servers knows the power is out. All you need besides the SBC and a webserver is a stable internet connection at home.
