Taz

a web server that dynamically renders PDFs as JPEGs. Built using muPDF and Golang

Building Taz

Assuming you have a working Go 1.1 install (see http://golang.org/), clone the repository and run

git submodule update --init --recursive
./build

It will download the dependencies, build a local version of fitz (the library behind mupdf) and its dependencies and build the taz executable

Running Taz

Simply call the executable. By default, it will run on port 7777 and serve pdfs located in the current directory. You can use the PORT and DATA_DIR envs to change these settings

Copyright & License

Taz includes code from the MuPDF library, and is thus offered under the AGPL licence.
