I had to remove the - here, because -> creates an arrow, and that would be confusing.
Related: should these all have + characters instead of - characters? Or is it not a combined keyboard shortcut like that?

NOTE: for some reason, this version of MDX (or something) has a few issues with certain characters in Markdown files (
<and>), so there were a handful of places I had to swap those out with HTML entities.
