Hi everyone,

The default main page still indicates link to old configuration files, github wiki instead of wiki.diaspora-project, has a hack only for webkit, and has a really dirty code.

So I'll modify it, but I have some questions :

  • Do you think we should move our link from the github wiki to the diaspora-project wiki, or we should wait to have back the diasporaproject.org domain ?
  • The hack displays shadows with webkit. Should I display shadows for every browsers, or remove it ? (see the screenshots)

Thank you !

I think the link should work. If the link to http://diasporaproject.org will be broken, don't include it. Use the Github wiki link instead.

Display them for all non-IE browsers, unless its a pain in the ass. I really don't care about performance on 7 and below..

My first point is about the diaspora-project.org domain, which is only a transition domain. But this transition can take a long time. So, do we have to wait diasporaproject.org with putting the diaspora-project link everywhere, or not ?

My second point is not about performance, only about design. Which one do you prefer ?

Are you talking about the link that says "github"? If so, I think that should stay linked to the github wiki. We could add another link for "more information" that goes to diasporaproject.org, but I do think that the Github Wiki is still the best place to find information about the project. http://diasporaproject.org looks nice, but doesn't have enough information for podmins IMO.

My opinion? I like the shadows. :shipit:

Sorry, I'm talking about the link "Documentation", bottom left.

And let's put the shadow :)

For the moment, I let the link to the wiki on github. Pull request on the launch ;)
