Breakout idea -- DC Genomics Lesson material

Summary
I propose a breakout session to discuss changes and reorganization of the DC Genomics lessons. After teaching the material with @ryanpeek, @shannonekj, @raynamharris, @AstrobioMike, @abostroem, and @perisateesh, we have a broad set of lesson changes that we would like to discuss, roughly outlined here. We would like to have more discussion around these points before posting them as an issue to the DC Genomics site.

The goal of this breakout session would be to discuss these changes, determine which changes would benefit the lesson material, and hopefully modularize the changes so they could be made in many small pull requests over time. These changes incorporate some suggestions made by @bluegenes (@tracykteal, @standage, @ljcohen, @karenword @jessicamizzi) and @standage at the April 2018 Bug BBQ, as well as some changes previously discussed with @fpsom.
