This is a known bootstrap/ubuntu issue. You can try the following:

Thanks, it works :)
I was trying to install http://tutorialtodoapp.readthedocs.org/en/latest/index.html when run into to this bug of Ubuntu. I wonder why this bug has not been corrected ... known since 2010 at least (https://bugs.launchpad.net/zc.buildout/+bug/410528)
