Going through both the Security Center log in the Web UI and the actions endpoint via the v2 API I've discovered that some (really most of the) actions appear to be missing from the REST API.
The entire tree for user, which includes login, logout, password_auth_succeeded, password_auth_failed, 2fa_success, two_factor_successful_login, password_auth_failed, two_factor_recovery_codes_generated, update_profile, update_attributes, request_change_email, confirm_change_email, and I'm sure many other methods that I haven't yet found, are completely missing from the Security Center.
More concerning, the ssh_key tree is also missing. This includes the methods for add, remove, edit.
This also appears to be true for the dns tree as well, but I haven't tested all of the actions related to that tree, but can say that create_record, add_domain, remove_domain, remove_record do not appear in the API events list.
The v2 API docs pretty unequivocally state:
Actions are records of events that have occurred on the resources in your account. These can be things like rebooting a Droplet, or transferring an image to a new region.
An action object is created every time one of these actions is initiated.
Every action that creates an action object is available through this endpoint.
And yet there is not a comprehensive list of 'actions' that I have been able to locate, that outlines what can, should and are not expected to be in this list of actions. Left as ambiguously as it is I can only assume, and hope, that it was meant to be all actions, but that sadly does not appear to be the case.
