Merge pull request #927 from tkf/jedi
Add recipe for Jedi.el and its dependencies

@dimitri dimitri merged commit daff1be into dimitri:master Oct 27, 2012

M-x el-get-install jedi says [No match]. Did this break?

sondr3 commented Apr 28, 2013

Bumbing because I've run into the same problem, I've tried updating the packages a few times and check via Marmalade but I can't find Jedi. Any ideas?

@sondr3 make sure you have updated version of el-get.

sondr3 commented Apr 29, 2013

@yyr I installed Emacs and el-get about four days ago and did an self-update and build the Emacswiki recipes, still can't find it.

You need to be using the master branch, not the stable one (for el-get).

sondr3 commented May 2, 2013

@dimitri That makes more sense, thanks. Do I just replace the current code in my .emacs file or do I need to do a reinstall?

Either reinstall el-get or hack your way in the ~/.emacs.d/el-get/el-get git repository to switch branches then restart emacs... I would reinstall, myself.

@dimitri sorry to bring up dead thread, but wondering about the reasoning of putting something in master instead of stable, does it mean that jedi is glitchy ?

I should just deprecate stable at this point, and call master a rolling release, because that's what it is really.
