Hi there,

Thank you very much for creating and maintaining this great tool.

I'm currently experiencing issues when using Photoswipe on a Galaxy Nexus phone (running Ice Cream Sandwich). When loaded in the default phone browser the swipe animations are quite choppy. When wrapped in a Phonegap application the images flash when swiped and are often not displayed at all.

Here is a video of this behaviour using a Phonegap wrapped Photoswipe:

The web version of the code is here:

The phonegap-wrapped apk is here:

Any chance this might be connected to the crazy high resolution (720×1280) of the Galaxy Nexus?

Note: The same Galaxy Nexus phone has far less choppiness/flicker on a mobile websites built using Photoswipe 2.1.6.

Any word on this?

Based on my tests, Photoswipe is unusable on Android 4.0 and 4.0.1. Things appear to work with Android 4.0.3, but I've only tested this version using the emulator not on an actual device.

I do not believe this is unique to the Galaxy Nexus, it just happens to be the only 4.0.1 phone I have for testing. An emulated 4.0 device exhibits the same choppiness/flickering/missing images.

This issue is related to http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=24837 . My hasty fix goes like this:

        var isAndroidICS = /4.0.[1-2]/.test(this.ua) && this.android;

        this.is3dSupported = !Util.isNothing(testEl.style.WebkitPerspective) && !isAndroidICS;

I have only been using this library for a few days, so there probably is a better fix. 3d transforms seem to be the issue.

I can confirm the stock browser in Galaxy Nexus with ICS has this flickering for the examples.
