Plants want 12-16h of light every day: light should be on during the day, not at night, so that they can sleep
Water them when the compost is dry, they need water.
This can be used to grow new plants collected from parts the wild. Read the instructions, and maybe get some more info on the web.
There are two solutions, A and B. Use 1 part of each to 200 parts of water.
