I was following the docs today and got stuck at this step: wget https://gist.github.com/raw/1125918/settings.py

I'm using cygwin running on Windows 7, and cygwin gives me the following error:

ERROR: The certificate of gist.github.com' is not trusted. ERROR: The certificate ofgist.github.com' hasn't got a known issuer.

What's happening? What should I do?

Thanks

I can't find any reference to either wget or that gist in the django CMS docs. Where did you find that?

Also, this isn't really a support forum. If you have usage questions, please ask them on the "django-cms" group (https://groups.google.com/group/django-cms) or on IRC (#django-cms on freenode).

Thanks for your reply. This is where I found it: https://www.django-cms.org/en/documentation/

I just skipped that and copy the files from my browser. I will ask any questions on the right place in the future.

Ah, thanks. That page isn't part of the "official" documentation (this one: http://django-cms.readthedocs.org/en/2.3/), that's why I didn't find it. Looks like that "tutorial" is a bit out of date anyway. Thanks for reporting it :)
