Viewing error output from precompilers #302

Debugging precompiler errors with compressor enabled is hard. Error output is mangled by the Django 500 page. I'd like to see this:
pretty errors

... instead of this:
ugly errors

Redirecting stderr from the precompilers into the Django development server console would be great. Is this something that's already possible and I'm just missing it in the docs?

I've had to fight with this a few times in writing a custom less precompiler command, definitely made it painful to debug. It looks like it's using ANSI color escape characters so the patch should be to assign the exception message value string to something like: "[31mNameError...".decode("string_escape")
