The FabSim3 templates for Eagle assume that the user is a plgrid user. However, the HiDALGO users are not part of plgrid, and are exposed to an entirely different environment than the plgrid users.

We need to make FabSim3 work such that both user types are seamlessly supported.

Here's a script that will work under a HiDALGO style account:

#!/bin/bash

#SBATCH -N 4
#SBATCH --ntasks-per-node=28
#SBATCH --job-name="flee_par"
#SBATCH -e "flee_partest.e"
#SBATCH -o "flee_partest.o"

module load openmpi/1.8.1-1_gcc482
module load python

cd $HOME/flee-release
for c in 28 56 84 112;
do
{ time mpirun -np $c --map-by core python3.5 ./test_par.py 120; } 1>test_par_${c}.out 2>test_par_${c}.err
done

My Eagle details for example are:

username: "derek"
budget: "394"
home_path_template: "/home/users/$username"

To my knowledge, this has now been fixed thanks to the good work of @arabnejad
