Shady

“Shady puts a shade over your screen to help soothe your tired or dazzled eyes. You can use it to reduce your Mac’s brightness far below the usual minimum, without any risk of damage to your screen.”

Matt L. Gemmell

This fork add two minor features:

  • Added a preference to apply shading to main display only. I want this to
completely black the main screen while projecting a movie.
  • Changed MAX_OPACITY to 1.0 to obtain pitch black screen.

The original code can be found here: http://svn.cocoasourcecode.com/Shady/

I’ll convert this to a proper github fork as soon as it is possible.
