I've never had this problem and I've used MSYS to run the test-suite for months.

Note that I run it like this:

make DMD=/d/dmd-git/dmd2/windows/bin/dmd run_compilable_tests

Your sc.ini is in /d/dmd-git/dmd2/windows/bin/? If so, problem might not appear.
I described the detail of the bug in bugzilla. If curious, see it.

As a note: by fixing 9330, we can choose from both cygwin and msys for the dmd development in Windows native.

Of course. I have separate dmd-git and dmd-release folders, it allows me to easily test both compiler versions.

Anyway this was pulled instantaneously but it takes 3 months before D-Programming-Language#1208 is even looked at even though that pull actually affects regular users of the compiler (and it missed the release deadline).
