The docs need to go in the .di file always when we maintain those manually for a module. |

OK, but currently, the makefile uses object_.d for producing the docs. None of the doc comments in object.di end up on the website. |

Or did you mean that the docs should be copied into object.di as well? I can do that. |

No, I thought we were using the .di file for docs... I'll merge this then, though we really should move the docs to the .di file and use that like we do for |
