when I'm using this package, the visuald project does not import it, all the other packages are imported and working. (VS2012)
I had to manually edit visualdproj for it to work.

Do you use:

$ dub generate visuald

or

$ dub generate visuald-combined?

vova616 commented Oct 23, 2013

ah looks like its works fine with visuald-combined, the problem is with visuald

Couldn't reproduce either with VS2010 or VS2012.
Is your gl3n up-to-date?
Is your VisualD up-to-date?

weird, yes I updated and tried again and its still the same problem,
it just doesn't add the path to the import paths.
I'm using VS2012 and windows7 64bit

It looks like gl3n's package.json is missing an "importPaths": ["."] entry. It works in the visuald-combined mode because DMD then already has all modules available and doesn't have to search the import paths.

Add "importPaths" entry to package.json
Building gl3n separately using "dub generate visuald" currently fails because DMD cannot find the import files. This entry should fix it - see also dlang/dub#136
