Consider adding an optional 'beeper' to the head tracker. This could work as an in dicator / beep to tell you device has powered up, and also as a'center button' pressed.

The new custom DTQsys Headtracker board has an on board buzzer now, available soon. We just have to add the modes. Should be pretty easy to add a fixed pin to the nano too, although will need a transistor to drive it.

I think for one, it should use the on-board battery monitor to beep when battery is low. Assume LiPo chemistry unless user picks otherwise in the GUI?
The beep when a button is pressed (Center for instance) for user feedback sounds like a great idea +1
Beep modes on various error situations. (Can't talk to a sensor, Sensor Values out of acceptable range, etc)
