ferguson-celebrate

Sir Alex is a group management platform, built on top of Elixir and Phoenix. For more information on what this is going to be, check out my essay on Sir Alex.

Running the server

  1. Make sure you have Elixir 1.5 and OTP 20 installed
  2. Make sure you have Postgres installed and running.
  3. Clone the repo onto your local machine: git clone git@github.com:dnsbty/sir_alex.git
  4. Install the project's dependencies: cd sir_alex && mix deps.get
  5. Create and migrate the database: mix ecto.create && mix ecto.migrate
  6. Install node.js dependencies: cd assets && npm install
  7. Start the server: mix phx.server

Now you can visit http://localhost:4000 in your browser.
