Hi all,

Hope this is the correct place for this.

I have registered on monday (I think) on hub.docker.com but didn't get the email to activate my account so I can't login. I have tried the feature for lost password that resends this email but no luck so far.

My account ID is KALRONG

Hi Kalrong,

Could you open a support ticket by sending an email to support@docker.com. I've looked at your account and there is an issue I don't want to discuss publicly.

When you open the ticket could you also add a link to this issue?

@kizbitz I tried signing up for a new account but didn't get any email either. I don't think there cuold have been an issue with my account before signing up :P I also tried forgot password 2 times but no email

@kizbitz Hi - I am getting the same problem. After setting up my account no account verification is being sent so I cant verify the account and use docker-hub. I have checked the email my seeing if I mistyped it by trying to set up as second account and I am told my original email is already assigned. So my setup details seem ok.

Hi guys I got a work around for it, ask docker hub to reset your password. After you do it you can login.

Same as everyone else. Are the docker people monitoring this at all? Why is this taged as closed in the first place? Resetting password doesn't do the trick for me.

I've got the same issue. Can't get my account activated.

Tried to reset password, with no success. Contacted support almost a week ago. Ticked ID: 00104914 Problem persists more than a week now. Please help...

I tried to register several times with different user names and emails, but I did not received password / account verification email and cannot log in.

My password contains numbers, small and big letters from the english ABC, but no special characters, more than 16 char.

This is affecting me as well. I've been trying for a few days to signup for an account. I never got the initial verification email and I have not got any of the recovery emails either.

I've tried following the steps on this page:
https://success.docker.com/article/email-verification-problems

My case would fall under resolution # 2 which states:

If the two are correct, you will be taken to a new version of the login page, which explains the account is not active yet. There is also a text box with the email address you provided to Docker Hub when you signed up for the individual account. Check the email address carefully. If it is wrong, change it as necessary, and click the "Resend Activation Email" button. If it's correct, click the "Resend Activation Email".

The page I'm taken to after following this instructions does not have this text box to verify/change my email or a "Resend Activation Email" button.

I filed a ticket about this (00112405) but am yet to receive a response.

Are there any known workarounds?

Seeing the same - trying to get a password reset mail, nothing ever arrives.
I have been trying over several months - even tried writing to support@docker.com, but didn't get any replies from them either.

Is Docker Hub a dead fish?

I've had this issue for years. I've never been able to log in and now I can't even download the installer because it requires me to log in.

Insufficient password length when logging in.(But before that, it was the right password)
However resetting password doesn't do the trick for me.

Finally! Success!
Had the same problem, when I signed up on 30th of October (see above)
Now - 26th of February, resending the activation link worked!
Don't know how long one'd have to wait before resending - probably less than 4 months (hopefully), but waiting a week had no effect, if I remember correctly.
Or maybe somebody took the time to fix this issue on my account?

I could not create an account as well.
Finally, I could create an account after I've tried to sign up through the Incognito Mode in Chrome.
Probably some browser cache issues in my case.

Thanks all, I'll check with the Hub engineers. We saw a few support cases having this issue as well.

One user mentioned it was caught by some spam filter, so be sure to check that, but there might be something else going on here too.

Registered on August 1st, never got the confirmation mail despite several resend attempts, but the desktop app didn't bother me to confirm my account, so I forgot about it, flashforward to today, now I need it to use the hub and to do so i need to confirm my email, please help, my user is dockerfausto
