We essentially have three labels for discussions:

  • ideas welcome
  • type discussion (originally type news)
  • type suggestion
  • type improvement

Lets consolidate this

How do you mean consolidate? You mean as in use it in every issue or improve them and use them from now on?

balupton commented Sep 14, 2013

Existing and after. We just need to figure out better tags to use, rather than having the tags all over the place.

Well those seem OK to me. Suggestion and improvement may be similar but they're used for different things.

👍 (Although I think your labels are among the best-organized I’ve seen on GitHub! ☺)

How about renaming ideas welcome ▶︎ help wanted? I think that comes across as more direct for GitHub users who want to help out…

We've moved to discourse, so this issue is no longer needed :-) Hopefully on discourse we will have an even better organisation system in time :-) As yep, our github labelling system is awesome.
