Nice, that someone got the same issue :), is there any progress on this (or a different way, to get the timeout for any cursor setted manually, without using mongo directly)?

I have not made any progress on this, so I would advise using the MongoCursor::$timeout work-around documented in the discussion thread.

Removing the milestone so this doesn't show in in the 1.0 release log. Looks like this was added in 9d8af3c for #496 (BETA8).
