The first time, you need to run
cme edit lcdproc -force
After, you can skip the -force option.
If you don't like to click, you can run:
cme modify lcdproc <commands>
cme modify lcdproc 'server driver=imonlcd - imonlcd Device="/dev/lcd1" '
Config::Model provides a model of Debian source package. This model is still incomplete but it already provide checks for several files including control and copyright file.
To check your package run:
cme check dpkg
You can upgrade your old files with:
cme migrate dpkg
If some warnings are still displayed, you can try this command to fix the warnings (but create a backup before as the automatic fixes may not be what you want):
cme fix dpkg
If you want an interactive way to edit or fix your files, run:
cme edit dpkg
In the GUI, use menu:
If you're interested only in checking or updating debian copyright file (i.e. debian/copyright) for DEP-5 syntax, you can run:
cme check dpkg-copyright
and to update the Format field to the official URL:
cme fix dpkg-copyright
