This way we won't have to track everyone down again when we actually get around to relicensing :)

Can 11/20/2014 be changed to a date format that isn't the weird American one? 2014-11-20, maybe?

I don't think this will be meged today, so just use a date more in the future. 1st dec?

Mind you, it's not necessarily possible to license code under GPLv2+ if it has GPLv2-only dependencies.

How so? If it's "GPLv2+" then you may not be able to use it under GPL3 terms if there is code it depends on that is GPL2, sure. But it still is GPL2+ and if the GPL2 deps are removed, then you could use it under GPL3.

You may want to email the FSF and get a confirmation on that. I don't think that would be the case (though I'm open to being proven wrong).

LGTM if you change the date to a date in the future.

Relicense? From what to what and why?

@Icekhaos This has been discussed for a few months now. We're relicensing from GPLv2 to GPLv2+, which mainly just allows us to use libraries licensed under GPLv3 and other licenses that are compatible with v3 but not v2.

You may as well just get on the IRC (where we're most active) if you ever want to ask random questions – we're all on #dolphin-emu on Freenode.

I'd like to express my gratitude for this change. I hope you'll get as many past contributors to relicense as well. (My RPM spec file already has "any later version, so I'm good :) )

@pauldacheez Some curious cats might find this useful, so an overview in tracker posts would be useful, or maybe that's just me. Anyway, that's awesome.
