Debug.Assert causing entire test run to be aborted #1643

Similar to the issues reported here:

microsoft/vstest#1022
dotnet/coreclr#22569

I still see the same error/issue on .net standard 2.0 with MSTest. Sounds like it was fixed with .Net Core 3.0, can someone comment on whether a similar fix was applied to .Net Standard as well?

.NET Standards isn't bounded to any implementation or code. It's just a contract. When running tests, MSTest may choose any framework implements it to run.
What you needs to do is telling MSTest to use a framework containing that change.
