With DTA effectively dead, what are good alternatives? #244
Since DTA is apparently dead, what are good alternatives for the Windows desktop?

DTA doesn't work

Additional info such as log extracts

I was just testing a few download managers on Firefox 55
For the bulk downloading stuff you can use cURL, it's not as nice as DownThemAll (cookie handling / UA spoofing is a pain in the ***) but at least it supports the syntax. For the "Download all links in page", you could try Snap Links Plus in a few months, but for now he hasn't ported the "Download All" action over from v2 - and no URL filtering of course. Download all images/embedded media I haven't found anything Firefox-addon-like for, I just use HTTrack when it gets that complicated.
Even with all the alternatives, I'll still be sad to see DTA go though, it was a really fast & simple tool for the niche it filled.
@jdrch according to this spreadsheet (line 28)
ps I saw that link on a mozillazine thread (it was the only google doc in my history I can't find the thread that linked to it) I don't know who wrote it or if it's accurate :/
