Example file.

When inserting a blockquote with a '>' character and appending text after it in a markdown file, doxygen inserts an extra empty paragraph (

) after the blockquote. Normally not a problem, but I style the blockquote with padding and background color and this makes the empty paragraph visible.

Example input md file:

Title {#mainpage}

Some text here.

This is important

More text

This will create a html blockquote tag with two paragraphs:

Some text here.

This is important

More text

But I expect it to be without the empty paragraph:

Some text here.

More text

When I ommit the 'More text' line the result is:

Some text here.

This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in
doxygen version 1.8.7. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the
bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information
that you think can be relevant (preferrably in the form of a self-contained example).
