[draft-js-mention-plugin] Missing example of initialize mention from plain text

As stated at #915 I couldn't find a way to do this properly, and i find strange that something so basic can be so complex, so probably i'm missing something, is there an example of how to achieve this at codesandbox, jsfiddle or just a plain example?
