Both the README and a couple other places mention that net-http-digest_auth "does not fully integrate with Net::HTTP." Yesterday, when I was wondering if this library would work for my needs, I really would have liked to find an explanation of where it does/does not fully integrate with Net::HTTP. Will GET work, but not PUT? Am I simply overlooking some other location that captures this information?
I've since gone ahead and used this library and found it works as far as I can tell, but I keep wondering if there's a sinkhole I'm about to step into! :)
Clarified Net::HTTP integration
Since Net::HTTP is single-request oriented I re-worded the README to
clarify how Net::HTTP::DigestAuth must be used and added some comments
to the example.
It means that net-http-digest_auth doesn't plug itself into Net::HTTP so you need to do some extra work to use it. I changed the wording of the README to make this more clear.
