pm-update proposes same version as installed #268

We haven't changed anything here. This is most likely caused by d.o. upgrade but it would be good if someone verified that. Would be good to know if other projects have trouble, or if it is just Drupal core. |

Not sure if that helps, but ancient Drush 4.6-dev doesn't seem to be affected or it has been fixed on d.o in the meantime: Update information last refreshed: Mon, 11/18/2013 - 04:09 Update status information on all installed and enabled Drupal projects: Name Installed version Proposed version Status Admin 6.x-2.0 6.x-2.0 Up to date Advanced CSS/JS Aggregation 6.x-1.9 6.x-1.9 Up to date AJAX Comments 6.x-1.x-dev 6.x-1.x-dev Update available Apache Solr Search 6.x-1.8 6.x-1.8 Up to date Apache Solr Node Exclude 6.x-1.0 6.x-1.0 Up to date Better Formats 6.x-1.2 6.x-1.2 Up to date Drupal core 6.28 6.28 Up to date Block Class 6.x-1.4 6.x-1.4 Up to date CAPTCHA 6.x-2.5 6.x-2.5 Up to date CDN 6.x-2.6 6.x-2.6 Up to date Node clone 6.x-1.3 6.x-1.3 Up to date Comment Bonus API 6.x-1.0 6.x-1.0 Up to date Comment Notify 6.x-1.6+1-dev 6.x-1.6 Update available Node and Comments Form Settings 6.x-2.0 6.x-2.0 Up to date Content Construction Kit (CCK) 6.x-2.9 6.x-2.9 Up to date CSS Embedded Images 6.x-2.2+1-dev 6.x-2.2 Up to date Chaos tool suite (ctools) 6.x-1.10 6.x-1.10 Up to date Diff 6.x-2.3 6.x-2.3 Up to date Read More Link (Drupal 6 and earlier) 6.x-5.0 6.x-5.0 Up to date FileField 6.x-3.11 6.x-3.11 Up to date FileField Nginx Progress 6.x-1.4+4-dev 6.x-1.4 Up to date Global Redirect 6.x-1.5 6.x-1.5 Up to date Google Analytics 6.x-3.5 6.x-3.6 Update available Hierarchical Select 6.x-3.8 6.x-3.8 Up to date ImageAPI 6.x-1.10 6.x-1.10 Up to date ImageCache 6.x-2.0-rc1 6.x-2.0-rc1 Up to date ImageField 6.x-3.11 6.x-3.11 Up to date JQuery menu 6.x-3.3 6.x-3.3 Up to date Libraries API 6.x-1.x-dev 6.x-1.x-dev Update available Login Security 6.x-1.3 6.x-1.4 Update available CAPTCHA Pack 6.x-1.x-dev 6.x-1.x-dev Update available Mime Mail 6.x-1.1 6.x-1.2 Update available Node Convert 6.x-1.7 6.x-1.7 Up to date Options Element 6.x-1.8 6.x-1.8 Up to date Path redirect 6.x-1.0-rc2+4-dev 6.x-1.0-rc2 Update available Pathauto 6.x-1.6 6.x-1.6 Up to date Secure Password Hashes 6.x-2.0 6.x-2.0 Up to date RobotsTxt 6.x-1.3 6.x-1.3 Up to date String Overrides 6.x-1.8+3-dev 6.x-1.8 Update available Tab Tamer 6.x-1.1 6.x-1.1 Up to date Taxonomy Edge 6.x-1.7 6.x-1.7 Up to date Advanced Taxonomy Blocks 6.x-3.5 6.x-3.5 Up to date Textile 6.x-2.4 6.x-2.4 Up to date Thickbox 6.x-1.6 6.x-1.6 Up to date Token 6.x-1.19 6.x-1.19 Up to date Views 6.x-2.16 6.x-2.16 Up to date Views cache bully 6.x-3.x-dev 6.x-3.x-dev Up to date Views content cache 6.x-2.3+0-dev 6.x-2.3 Up to date Views Slideshow 6.x-2.4 6.x-2.4 Up to date Webform 6.x-3.19 6.x-3.19 Up to date XML sitemap 6.x-2.0-rc2 6.x-2.0-rc2 Up to date |

Well, in fact the D6 example I just posted seems to prove that it does suggest downgrades, because Path redirect 6.x-1.0-rc2+4-dev is newer than 6.x-1.0-rc2, String Overrides 6.x-1.8+3-dev is newer than 6.x-1.8, and so on. |
|
Please try again (after clearing any caches that might exist) as https://drupal.org/node/2137201 has likely fixed this. |
|
Nope, it managed to downgrade it this time, from 6.28 to 6.27. drush_sup (Drush Site Upgrade) is very confused as well. What confuses me is this: pm-releases seems to know about 6.29, but pm-update only knows about 6.27/6.28 |
|
pm-update and pm-updatecode reuse core's update status module to provide recommendations. Thus, they are still broken by the drupal.org upgrade. See the issue that @greggles linked to. drush pm-releases and pm-download look to be fixed. |

d.o. fixed itself. |

I tried the latest 7.x tag, the latest 6.x tag, and master, all with the same result. Allowing
drush upto do its thing just overwrites the current 6.27 with 6.27.The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
