5.10 release #71
Comments
We're hoping to release Aegir 2.0 before Prague, and would like to support both Drush 5 & 6, but there are some bugs in 5.9 that make that tough. Of these, I believe only one still requires back-porting from Drush 6: > Support using a distribution as core will also greatly simplify our release process, but I believe it's already been cherry-picked. |
I think that the tty bug could be backported now; 6.0.0 has been out for a little while, and we have not heard any complaints yet. Does anyone have any concerns? The big question is, who's the 5.x branch maintainer? |
On IRC earlier today, Moshe suggested that jonhattan was the proper person to address this to. But I haven't seen him online since then. |
Oh yes, my mistake; it's the 6.x branch that does not have an assigned maintainer yet. |
so who's workin on that? johnattan? |
I committed > jonhattan is the 5.x branch maintainer. I think we are ready for a 5.10.0 (and a 6.1.0) release. |
any blockers here? i'd be happy to help with that release, and i hang out on the #drush channel as well as the coder lounge in prague drupalcon. :) |
Will this release be pulled into the Pear channel? Right now, 5.9 is the latest. |

There are a number of bug-fixes since 5.9 that would be great to get into a shiny new 5.10 release.
