@dscape We're never going to get along on this. I wrote most of cradle, you wrote nano. Lets meet in the middle and at least support each other options so that someone could do:
var cradle = require('cradle'),
nano = require('nano');
var cradleDb = (new cradle.Conection(opts)).database('dbname');
var nanoDb = nano(opts);
Sounds sane, and would save a lot of users effort when migrating.
Perhaps factor this into a module of its own parse-couch-opts?
How about just couch-url ... think similar api to the core url module.
Hey, have you already started hacking on the couch-url module?
I'd be willing to contribute one.
What properties would be needed on the url object besides db?
Nop, but was thinking this should be just require('url').
Didnt have the time yet to investigate if that's possible
@klaemo sorry, thought you were @indexzero
Feel free to send a PR on both nano and cradle!
