Thanks @iwr-redmond . Sounds useful, and yeah uv is really good. How about a --uv flag?

So it would use pip by default, and use uv if --uv is passed.

Sure, it worked pretty well when I was playing around with it. Haven't tried much lately with all the latest changes. Feel free to lift anything you'd like from the fork, or I'll get around to updating it & making a proper PR in the next day or two.
