we are seeing failures in the Apache Commons Collections build which seem to be related to clirr 0.6 not supporting Java 8 default methods. Is this the right place to start working on a fix? Or is this just a mirror?

Hi Benedikt! This repository is a Git import from CVS I made a few years ago, I offered my help to the original author but he was busy or not interested at this time.

This repository could be used as the starting point of a fork, but maybe we should pick a different name first (kleer, klirr...)

Bonjour Emmanuel!

sure we could start a fork. From the Apache Commons perspective I would like to evaluate first whether we can drop Clirr and only use japicmp.

I'll bring this up on the ML.
