With Jakarta EE 8, there is no reason for the CDI events to be synchronous.

Hi @m-reza-rahman In order to support Async event we will need to migrate to Jakarta EE 8 correct

Ignore when i forked my local repo was pointing to javaee-7 release.

Resolved. I will test the code ASAP and make any changes that might be needed. I will also update the documentation.
