HTTPS JDT LS download link redirects to HTTP mirror

If I use the usual download link to download the latest JDT LS archive file: https://download.eclipse.org/jdtls/snapshots/jdt-language-server-latest.tar.gz The link is HTTPS. However, it redirects to the mirror download site with HTTP, i.e. http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/eclipse/jdtls/snapshots/jdt-language-server-latest.tar.gz.

It'd be great if there was an https mirror as well at least. BTW HTTPS version of the mirror URL works fine. Any chance we can have HTTPS download links redirected to HTTPS mirror URLs?

Seems like a problem on the Eclipse Foundation mirroring setup. I've opened https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=547932

Accroding to the referenced issue at Eclipse, this was finally resolved at the start of 2021, so I'll be closing this.
