Describe the bug
The JVM crashes when opening a specific dialog in eclipse. Other dialogs work.
To Reproduce
- download 4.38RC2 / Eclipse SDK
- unpack
- run eclipse with a new/temp workspace
- open Window/Preferences
- navigate to Java/Editor/Save Actions
- check "Perform the selected actions on save"
- check "Additional actions"
- click on "Configure..." -> CRASH
Expected behavior
No crash.

Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie) -

Tested with multiple JDK versions. All crash:
- JRE version: OpenJDK Runtime Environment (21.0.9+10) (build 21.0.9+10-Debian-1deb13u1)
- JRE version: OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-21.0.8+9 (21.0.8+9) (build 21.0.8+9-LTS)
- JRE version: OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-25+36 (25.0+36) (build 25+36-LTS)
Version since
Eclipse or SWT version since when the behavior is seen [e.g. 4.23]
Tested with multiple eclipse/SWT versions. All crash:
- org.eclipse.swt_3.129.0.v20250221-1734.jar
- org.eclipse.swt_3.130.0.v20250528-1759.jar
- org.eclipse.swt_3.131.0.v20250820-1556.jar
- org.eclipse.swt_3.132.0.v20251124-0642.jar
Workaround (or) Additional context
Seems to be related to my upgrade to Debian 13. Did not crash on Debian 12 I think, but I can not verify right now.
Tested with multiple eclipse releases (4.35, 4.36, 4.37, 4.37 and 4.38RC2). All crash in the same way.
