Failure when building SUMO in Linux

Hi SUMO community,

I follow the instructions in https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Installing/Linux_Build.html#installing_the_sumo_binaries to build SUMO from source code in the github repository. But the procedure of running cmake --build build -j$(nproc) consistently raises some error (see the attached file log.docx)

This happens if you still have an older version of sumo on your system that gets imported by the python scripts during the build process. The easiest fix is to clean out any previous sumo installations (via package manager, pip or self-built).
The other possible (but potentially harder fix) is to ensure that the existing installation is not used during build by diagnosing all the python load paths).
