  2. finished up texture/overworld sprite support

magical committed with eevee Sep 19, 2009
textures come in blocks containing 'subtextures' and palettes.

this commit adds 4 new formats to the cat and extract commands:

      - texture: dumps every subtexture, with every palette applied
      - overworld-sprites: attempts to arrange the subtextures in an
        aesthetically pleasing manner
      - pokemon-overworld-sprites: like overworld-sprites, but only dumps
pokemon, and only uses the first palette entry
      - pokemon-overworld-sprites-shiny: same as above, but uses the second
        palette entry

  1. Sprite decryption now uses a generator for the mask.

    eevee committed Sep 8, 2009
a_magical_me is awesome for providing some enlightenment on why the game
acts as it does and reminding me of how to reverse the mask generation
so I can start from the upper left pixel.

This fixes decryption of a handful of large Pokémon's sprites in
    Platinum.
  2. Rough support for extracting Pokémon sprites and palettes.

    eevee committed Sep 8, 2009
They're extracted separately, but it wouldn't be hard to hack this to
    recombine them.

Slight problem: this algorithm still assumes that the lower-right pixel
is blank. I need a way to get around this, as there are a handful of
Pokémon for which it isn't true.

  1. Brought extract up to speed with cat.

    eevee committed Sep 6, 2009
Formats and --narc-split now work and have the correct defaults. Also,
the splitting of a narc actually works; apparently I never bothered to
    actually implement that.

  1. Added full file list inspection.

    eevee committed Feb 6, 2009
`porigonz <image> list` now lists every file in the image, complete with
offsets, in a format similar to ndstool.
This leaves the door wide open for, finally, actually examining a file.
