Need to "Activate" every time

Hi, I love this Eq, it works well. There is just one bug which bothers me. If I close Chrome (I'm on OS-X, all up to date) Eq won't work again until I open the icon and choose another preset, or change one of the slider in the current preset. It seems as it would be in a "Sleeping" state... My elderly mother always forget this, and sometimes even me myself until I few songs was played. I'd really appreciate if you could point me to the problem, or fix it if it's possible.

Hi, just adding some extra info. Now after some more use I have noticed that even without closing Chrome the above problem could occur. Sometimes when I open a YouTube video on a new tab the EQ won't come on. It is very random, mostly it is working automatically, at least until I have the first tab open where I made it active, but not always.

This bug is the only major one that bothers me and surprisingly it's been present for at least most, if not all of the past few years I've been using this extension. When compared to the other Chrome EQ extensions, this one is my favorite and fixing this bug would make it perfect to me.
