You can also download the current bleeding edge of everything in here, using:

(you'll need to fork it and replace USERNAME with your github username).

For developers, simply clone it into your www/ folder, and you could use the following links in various ad-blocking extensions.

http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts0.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts_with_localhost.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts0_with_localhost.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts_adblock.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_hide.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_block.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_block_inline_script.txt
http://localhost/hosts.eladkarako.com/build/hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_style_inject.txt

To get a raw list of the blocked hosts: _raw__hosts.txt, build/hosts.txt is it in the classic-127.0.0.1-prefix mode. build/hosts0.txt has the list with 0.0.0.0-prefix mode, which is slightly faster to block.

If use this file as the machine's HOSTS file, you should make sure those three-lines are included somewhere:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 loopback
::1       localhost

You can download build/hosts.txt or build/hosts0.txt and edit them yourself, or use the respectively build/hosts_with_localhost.txt or build/hosts0_with_localhost.txt, which has it in it already.

build/hosts_adblock.txt is the same as _raw__hosts.txt but properly formatted using the AdBlock-standard, you may use it, combined with editing your computer's HOSTS file. It will really improve your browsing experience, in both quality (less junk visible) and overall speed (less junk to download).

as for build/hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_block.txt, hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_hide.txt, hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_block_inline_script.txt and hosts_adblock_anti_annoyances_style_inject.txt - each of those will improve a slightly different aspect of browsing: _hide will hide ads, _block will safe-guard you from even accessing ads and malwares, _block_inline_script.txt protects your privacy from online collectors and encrypted online-spyware and _style_inject.txt fixes (instead of simply hiding stuff...) elements of the page that are badly designed, such as toolbars, colors and such...
