Description
Serverless Docs
Elastic Security
Description
Content reviewed: Enable access for macOS Monterey
Issues:
- The three links at the start of the page don’t work if you click on them. The
Doclink slugtag might not accept attributes in the link syntax.- Example: If you click on the first link, the page URL is: https://www.elastic.co/docs/current/serverless/security/install-endpoint-manually#approve-the-system-extension-for-Elastic%20Endpoint
- In the note directly beneath the intro para, the reference to the docs for enrolling the agent isn’t working correctly. The URL for that section is wonky too, and includes the Elastic Agent attribute at the end, for example: https://www.elastic.co/docs/current/serverless/security/install-edr#configure-and-enroll-the-((agent))
- Approve network content filtering for Elastic Endpoint: Don’t need a bullet for a list with a single item.
- Enable Full Disk Access for Elastic Endpoint: A couple of notes on the content before the main steps:
- In the first sentence of the intro para, I recommend swapping
viawithusing. - I’m unsure whether the last sentence in the para applies to Serverless (To enable Full Disk Access on endpoints running macOS Catalina (10.15) and later, you must manually approve Elastic Endpoint.) In Serverless, the Elastic Defend integration details page shows that the integration version is 8.15.1. The Elastic Defend section of the Elastic support matrix shows that the latest version of Elastic Defend (8.15.1) doesn’t support macOS 10.15, but the latest version of Elastic Endpoint and Cloud Security 8.4.x does.
- In the first sentence of the intro para, I recommend swapping
