The location is not Duke's apartment in NY. It is at home of Ruth James, Duke's sister, Riverside Drive at 106th Street in Manhattan. (Discographies report instead it was Duke’s apartment in West End Avenue). Duke Ellington appears on CBS-TV’s “Person To Person” show (10:30-11:00pm) in New York City. He is interviewed at his sister Ruth’s apartment by Edward R. Murrow who is in the CBS Studios. Ruth and Duke’s son Mercer are with him at the apartment.
