I attempted to run your bundle script today, and I got everything working through security group creation.

The bundler wasn't able to setup a bundling host, I presume because it is not available any more.

What do I need to do to create my own bundling host and point the script at it?

Hm. It should create a bundling host automatically; it's only if you tell it to do so that it leaves the bundling host running and re-uses it for multiple bundles (i.e. if you're bundling a larger number of AMIs, approximately four or more IME.)

This entire script is aging quite a lot, and I don't personally use EC2 much anymore (Linode! They directly support Arch, as well.) … if you want to chat about it, hit me up on Gtalk (http://ell.io/tt) or IRC (http://ell.io/IRC).
