incompatible character encodings: UTF-8 and ASCII-8BIT
/var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/maruku-0.6.0/lib/maruku/helpers.rb:97:in `rescue in md_html'
Does the error msg tell me which file contains the incompatible character encoding? If so, which one. I have too many files in that folder and seems to me they are not processed in any particular order, so I don't know what file is next to the last succeed rendering.
Probably a maruku issue. It happened to me before in jekyll. Only if i can switch to another markdown parser to try again to make sure. Which leads to another question, how to use another markdown parser. I will post another issue for that.
Pretty sure that's just Maruku being Maruku. If you can replicate a similar problem with another parser, re-open this.
It's because the problem is maruku specifc that I want to use kramdown instead of it.
