Hi,

I don't know if this is conceptually wrong, but what do you think of a WebSocket adapter?

In conjunction with auto-updating templates, could be a straightforward way to keep data updated realtime. I know there would be some rough edges, but it looks promising as a concept :). I suppose we should first stablish some conventions on how data is retrieved-stored, since there's nothing like REST for WebSockets AFAIK :)

Please forgive me if this is just crazyness 😄

Hey,

this experiment could be of interest to you :

https://github.com/tchak/colors-demo
http://colors-demo.herokuapp.com/

It use basic RestAdapter for crud operations, and updates other clients with WebSocket (pusher)

Wow, this is awesome!

That's what I was thinking. CRUD falling back to the standard REST adapter, and WebSockets for keeping data updated.

I don't quite understand part of the code, I should dig into ember.js guts deeper.

Cool work! Thanks for your quick answer :)

This seems like it's resolved.
