When using Image.quantize(), everything works except for the a small colour bar included in the result:
asuka2_qwandised

Here's a closeup of the affected area:
zoomin

It appears regardless of image dimension/depth.
EDIT - It appears when using remap() as well.
EDIT2 - Isolated the case to only occur when loading with numpy array. Using blob or files produce no artifact.

Can you share the first 32 numpy array values & how the array is described (i.e. array.__array_interface__)?

Looks like memory is being written to downstream. Odd as the array interface was flagged as read-only.

I've spent the better part of a week testing the solution for this issue, and it seems stable. Fix should be released in a few more days, but feel free to test the master branch.
