Specifically:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Don't know how to create ISeq from: java.lang.Character

When I have the time I'll try and submit a patch, just wanted to file an issue before I forget.

Hmm, this seems to be working for me as of version 0.1.8. Maybe I accidentally fixed it somewhere along the road? Could you try this again and let me know if it's still broken?

@emezeske Handle :notify-command like all other commands.
I removed the "%" and :beep special handling. I think there are very
few people using these, and they make things harder to maintain. They
are very easily emulated with a simple shell script. Note that I bumped
the minor version due to this being a slight backwards incompatibility.
Closes #79.
