Note

You might see a virus warning when downloading the ZIP. This is very likely a false positive caused by heuristic detection — especially for tools that are new, not widely known yet, and suddenly downloaded more often. 📍 Center M needed as a base — ClawTweaks is designed to completely disable/hide Center M (with one click). But Center is needed - Mostly for OEM Button and controller virtualization support. If you are coming from 3rd party Center M Replacements make sure to unistall everything and re-install center M properly.

On a handheld, just download the release ZIP file, unpack it and run Install.bat. It auto-elevates, installs everything, and closes itself afterwards. When the bat file is closed open Gamebar (Win + G or right MSI Button) confirm UAC so that ClawTweaks can run as admin

Setup process:

1. Extract the ZIP file to your chosen directory

3. Confirm the UAC prompt
4. Enable Gaming in Xbox Game Bar (Win + G)
5. Locate and position the ClawTweaks widget on the left side

Important

The Batch File script automatically checks whether the tools required for the function—such as RTSS, hidHide, Vigem, and PawnIO—are installed. If not, the script stops, and you can install the missing tool by confirming with Y (YES). If any of these tools are missing, ClawTweaks will not work properly.

Important

MSI has released a new major version of Center M (v3). As far as we know, it does not include any significant new features. We recommend waiting to update to Center M v3 if you want to test ClawTweaks, as we have not yet tested Center M v3 with our version.

Note

No controller input? If nothing on the controller works and the left stick only moves the mouse cursor, the MSI Claw's hardware mouse/controller switch is in mouse mode. Hold the Start button for at least 3 seconds to switch it back to controller mode.

What's New

New default design — "Next Gen Claw"

A fresh default look inspired by the upcoming MSI Center M quick-settings style: blue-glass tiles with a subtle diagonal sheen, glowing accents and themed metrics. It's now the default theme, and of course you can switch back to any other theme at any time.

New built-in actions

The action picker (for Custom Tiles, controller button combos and the Left MSI / front OEM button) gained two new categories plus media controls:

• Program Actions — open the Default Browser, Microsoft Store, Chrome or Spotify in one tap.
• Launch Website — jump straight to Exophase, RetroAchievements, Google, YouTube, the ClawTweaks Releases page or the FAQ.
• Media keys — Next Track, Previous Track and Play / Pause.

All of these work from a tile, a controller combo, or the front button — even while the Game Bar is closed.

Your own .exe files, scripts and URLs

Add your own programs (.exe) and PowerShell scripts (.ps1), as well as custom website URLs, right from the System tab. They then show up in every action dropdown (marked (User)), so you can bind them to a custom tile, a controller combo, or the Left MSI button. Perfect for launching a specific game, a tool, or a little automation script with one press.

More themes

Several new themes to match your taste, selectable at the top of the System tab:

• Claw Blue — the solid, pre-glass blue look
• Box X — Xbox-inspired green
• Nintendon't — red & white
• Chrilleteur — violet & yellow

…alongside the existing Default, Dark, OLED, Dracula, Nord and Catppuccin themes.

Improvements & Fixes

• Left MSI (front OEM) button now has its own dedicated card grouping the single-click and an optional double-click action, with a configurable detection window (default 220 ms) and a live "double-click detected" indicator for fine-tuning. The double-click supports both Keyboard and Action modes, just like the single click.
• Installer now restarts/refreshes the helper after install, so new features work immediately — no reboot required.
• Fluent System Icons across the navigation tabs and all default tiles for a cleaner, sharper look.
• Fixed a widget crash that could occur when hovering/selecting a tile (a duplicate animation in the tile hover effect).
• Fixed the crash that could occur after a game session ended.

What's New

New: Display color settings (Intel)

• A new Display tab with a full Color Remaster — Saturation, Hue, Contrast, Brightness, Gamma and Adaptive Sharpness, applied directly through the installed Intel graphics driver (IGCL), no extra tools required.
• These values are stored per game and globally in the existing performance profile (now "Performance & Display"), so your color/sharpness follows the running game — great for titles that look washed out or oversaturated.
• A reference-image gallery at the top previews the effect live; it's now larger, navigable with the controller (arrows + A), and shows a dot indicator.

New: Dedicated Fan tab

• Fan control moved into its own Fan tab with Quiet / Default / Aggressive / Custom presets.
• Fixed loud fans caused by a lingering full-speed override, and the selected preset now persists across reboots (the helper is the single source of truth).

Fix: occasional mouse stutter

• The virtual mouse could stutter under load. The helper and its input threads now run at a higher process/thread priority, matching the responsiveness you'd expect.

Design refresh

• New tab design — the active tab is now a modern raised "register" pill with a subtle 3D gradient and accent glow instead of the thin underline, with more breathing room. The white controller-focus ring is unchanged.
• Tab icons redrawn with crisp Fluent System Icons (Home, Performance, Display monitor, Profiles, Controls, Lossless, System) plus a proper round fan icon.
• Consistent profile-status badges across Controls / Performance / Display: orange = Editing Global Profile, green = Editing Game Profile, and the saved profile cards now show the stored display values.

Stability

• Fixed a widget crash that could fail-fast the whole Game Bar when a game started or ended (an out-of-range TDP-mode index when switching profiles). This is what previously made the helper appear to "drop out" between games and skipped the game-start notification — both are now consistent.

Fixes

• Assigning a custom tile hotkey no longer leaves the default Start + Select combo stuck.
• The Saved Controller Profiles card now names the sticks correctly (matching the Claw's swapped left/right stick mapping in the gyro menu).
