Installation
Note
You might see a virus warning when downloading the ZIP. This is very likely a false positive caused by heuristic detection — especially for tools that are new, not widely known yet, and suddenly downloaded more often. 📍 Center M needed as a base — ClawTweaks is designed to completely disable/hide Center M (with one click). But Center is needed - Mostly for OEM Button and controller virtualization support. If you are coming from 3rd party Center M Replacements make sure to unistall everything and re-install center M properly.
Tip
On a handheld, just download the release ZIP file, unpack it and run Install.bat. It auto-elevates, installs everything, and closes itself afterwards. When the bat file is closed open Gamebar (Win + G or right MSI Button) confirm UAC so that ClawTweaks can run as admin
Setup process:
- Extract the ZIP file to your chosen directory
- Doubleclick Install.bat and confirm administrator privileges
- Confirm the UAC prompt
- Enable Gaming in Xbox Game Bar (Win + G)
- Locate and position the ClawTweaks widget on the left side
- Confirm the background UAC prompt on first launch
- Disable MSI Center M in the Main tab to unlock all features
- Enable Virtual Controller & Mouse in the Controls tab
- By default you can switch between Mouse and Controller mode with Start + Select
Important
The Batch File script automatically checks whether the tools required for the function—such as RTSS, hidHide, Vigem, and PawnIO—are installed. If not, the script stops, and you can install the missing tool by confirming with Y (YES). If any of these tools are missing, ClawTweaks will not work properly.
Important
MSI has released a new major version of Center M (v3). As far as we know, it does not include any significant new features. We recommend waiting to update to Center M v3 if you want to test ClawTweaks, as we have not yet tested Center M v3 with our version.
Note
No controller input? If nothing on the controller works and the left stick only moves the mouse cursor, the MSI Claw's hardware mouse/controller switch is in mouse mode. Hold the Start button for at least 3 seconds to switch it back to controller mode.
Reordering widgets: remove and re-add them in the desired sequence to change their order.
